Description:

Bromophenol blue is a colorless or light rose red fine crystal. Soluble in ethanol, benzene, ether and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in water, aqueous solution is yellow, in alkaline solution is blue purple. It is mainly used as acid-base indicator. The pH changes from 3.0 to 4.6. The color changes from yellow to blue and purple from green.
